Tesla participates in the E-Verify Program
- Perform corrective maintenance on in-house dynamometer and supporting test system equipment
- Document all work performed in Jira and communicate efficiently and respectfully with R&D engineering groups
- Troubleshoot and test equipment and review tests leading to equipment failure
- Focus on continuous improvement and 5S practices
- Mechanical aptitude: Ability to deconstruct Electro-Mechanical assemblies to component level, inspect for damage or nonconformance, and reassemble with little to no guidance. Knowledge of basic hand tools, and fabrication skills (use of cut-off wheels, metal grinders, drill press, etc.)
- Knowledge of electrical skills: basic wiring ability, connecting sensors & power supplies, soldering, using a DMM
- Understanding of electrical and rotating equipment hazards (LOTO, HV Training)
- MUST be able to travel (Domestic and International)
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with solid documentation and reporting skills utilizing Microsoft office and project management tools like JIRA / Confluence
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required
- Must be able to become HV certified and be comfortable working with equipment capable of 600VAC and 1500VDC
- Understanding of Linux based script or python highly preferred

$24.40 - $65.40/hour cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
